Local Artists Competition @ Crossing Europe Festival 2024.
Hybrid Animation
This short stop motion animation is part of a collaborative uni project and live art installation on different experiences of loneliness. Each team (two people) was given a room in a house to fill with a 30 second long story about coping with loneliness told in different animation mediums.
My team created a stop motion paper cutout animation with digital special effects.

The character and background were shot separate from each other on blue screen and combined later in post. Start and end of the video are designed to be looped because the installation showed all videos at the same time but only highlighted the big actions of one story at a time.
